wow guys! it's april already! everything's just so fast paced! guess this is how i'm going to live life. Life with God is exciting, that's why time flies :) just loving what i'm doing right now man. wouldn't exchange my life with another!

what makes me love my life so much? probably God, and right below it is people! people makes you life interesting and fun, especially cool church mates and leaders! :) that's why, going for cg is so important! that's where you can really fellowship and grow! having friends to do live with is so much fun, and much more powerful than running the race alone! so i really challenge you to come for cg this week man! it's going to be really awesome! :)

best chalet

Zone F had the best chalet that we ever had. :) it was just super super super fun. it wasn't the games, the hype, the excitement that made it so so so good, but rather, it was the fellowship. :)

on sunday, we prayed and worshipped God. it was so amazing seeing zone F praying on our own even before Dom and the leaders came into the MPR. we kept praying and praying, while Joanne and I played the guitar. it came to a point of time, when we all knelt down to pray. it was just so amazing. God was just humbling us down to our knees. Sometimes, it's not always about the limelight, the things that we do, but it's about God. when i saw everyone praying with their hearts and worshipping on their knees, my heart just melted. It's just indesciptable.

after that, it was history.

we left for Changi in the afternoon, it was long long long waiting time. haha suay suay on my way there, i got stung by some insect, and that made me go see a doc and waste 24 dollars. -.- but it's cool to see that people actually care. :) cheryl, marcus and daryl. :) yeah, and even the whole zone F! they prayed for me while i was at the doc's. i was like whoaaa... totally blown awayyy!

that night, we worshipped with In Liberty, and it was amazing. i really got touched by the way some people worshipped. it's the same as they used to. i can't help but to tear. at least i know that they still love God. :) it was a good 2 hours in God's presence!

the last night was the best man. we went crazy! HAHA. we made music with pans, cupboards, plates, spoons, chopsticks, brooms and anything that was in the kitchen! look for the video! it's seriously super funny. we call ourselves the... KITCHEN GANG :) it's with wenqian! HAHA. then after that, it started with Ivan and i trying to compose a song for cheryl, esther and joanne. BUT! it turned out to be a super sing along session with loads of crap LOL. it was soooooooo funny. awesome man.

truly, through this chalet, we have really grown closer and bonded tighter as a whole zone. especially the kitchen gang! cheryl, esther, lumbin, xiaojiao, marcus, xinyi, randyne, all these people, really bonded. HAHA. it's just an amazing feeling man. haha! too good. :)

today's service was great! Pastor Josh Kelsey was really awesome! following closely and not just following. sometimes we all just come to church, praise and worship, pray when everyone else is around us. it's just so natural. but when the weekends are over, and monday draws nearer by the hour, that's when we are tested whether we are following closely to Jesus. Daily encounters with God are so important! it's through these that we grow stronger in God.

God allows trials and temptations not to break us, but to strengthen us. But we gotta have a strong relationship with God, otherwise we will definitely not be able to pass this test man! haha. :) today's service was just too awesome. :)

guitar lesson with Joanne today was awesome. :) really learnt alot of things.

tomorrow's monday and i'm going to attack it! week's resolution: don't ko in any classes of the week! HAHA.

haha, today is rather okay for me. i think, except for that incident at subway. arghhhhh!!! nvm haha! prayer meeting was good. shanny really helped me alot throughout the meeting. :) thanks shanny! haha! daryl seah said it was good! i believe that it's good! :)

had integration meeting with Ivan earlier, and it was really good! :) haha, during the meeting, he slapped my thigh at least 5 times! OUCH! imagine the screams everytime i was slapped HAHA. and wayne called me a metro. -.-

powerful prayer meeting at YSC

we had an awesome time praying together at YSC today! it was really powerful. The presence of God was really strong! both Esther and Jiaxin were super anointed! HAHA. :) truly, 1 hour felt like a mere 10 mins. what was the most interesting part was during the last 10 mins of the prayer meeting when Jiaxin asked us to pray for zone f specifically. i could really feel the heart's cry of everyone in that meeting. it was really strong. everyone prayed with CONVICTION (inside joke) :)
especially, JT!

okay it was like this. the guys were sitting at 1 side of the circle, and the girls at the other. so when the girls had prayed finished individually, then JT prayed. "spirit of boldness come upon us" then suddenly the guys prayed super loud. you could hear the drastic change. whoa powerful man. Jiaxin laughed. (i didn't know even though she was sitting beside me. that shows how loud)

that's the result of REAL MEN'S PRAYER MEETING HA! :) not forgetting, tmr 5-6pm real men's prayer meeting. :) prayer makes a cg, zone and church strong. :)

15km run

the 15km run today at mount faber was a killer. but at least we know who's a real team mate and whose not now. :)

maybe life's just like that. it's a run, in which you will be overtaken by some, and overtake some. but the people that will push you on are your friends that will run beside you. and even though when either one of you falters, you know that you will be there for each other, encouraging them, finishing the race no matter what.

but in any case. my legs are aching now. -.-

slowing down

today's self esteem workshop really touched many hearts and it really was powerful. :) we are wonderfully and fearfully made by God! why should we bother about what other people may say about us? just focus on growing ourselves in God, and being relevant to the world. who cares what the neighbour beside you might say. be secure in God. :)

poverty. hate it. our church shall have many many many rich people, but definitely no poor people. i'm sure that day will come. :) poverty. though it's just a word, it brings a lot of trauma and difficulty to many that experienced it. it's just not a word to some.

trust. today i really felt trusted by 2 people. :) firstly by cheryl, and yeesiong. :) yeesiong could openly share what happened with me even though i was a few years younger than me. it's just not about age! it's about being a true friend. :) haha! remember our date next week bro! :)

i realised my dota skills are still there even though i haven't touched it for quite some time. HAHA.

what an awesome statement! who says that we can only do good when we are doing well? what if one day we never do well? does that mean that we will never do good either? change of mindset people! giving our best years to God, and God will use these years to impact a whole new generation. :) pure and holy. in the world, but not of the it. sent into the world to change it.

my heart just went out to all these people from Myanmar and the Philippines. let's really go all out and help them in every way that we can! :)

the interview with Jacob, David, Martin and Desmond was really an eye-opener and very engaging and funny, i just can't figure out how Leona could... HAHA. :) and Cheryl's sms really helped HAHA! in anycase, today has been awesome. Caleb came for service and we went to play LAN together! it was awesome. Haven't really touched dota, but to think my skills are somewhat still there. pretty amazing! HAHA.

i thank God for friends like Cheryl, Marcus and Leona.

though circumstances maybe not always be in your favour, but i know friends like these will be with you through these circumstances. this is what they did. knowing that i was down because of a few things, and while i was sleeping in the artist room today, Cheryl, Marcus and Leona went to Each A Cup and bought me nice bubble tea and donut! not only that, they wrote me a card to encourage me. :) that really lifted my spirits. i really really really thank God for people like these. :)

Helllllo world!

okay i'm going blog and Marcus is going to help me give my blog a new look on tuesday! HAHA. i pray that it won't be emo (just kidding) okay i'm going to trust him.

Had a very very very powerful week. Zone F service was really powerful. Pastor Lia's sermon was really awesome. It was personal breakthrough for myself actually. Something just broke inside of me. Not looking to the left or to the right. :)

Today was the finale of Pastor How's 4 part series of roadmap of a Christian Journey. It was powerful man. For the worst, for the least, for everything that's bad, i will still love you Jesus. :)

2 Corinthians 4:8-10: 8 We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed-- 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

this verse is really powerful. through thick and thin, no matter what circumstances, my stand for God will not change.

Next week's going be great man. Exams are going to be over tomorrow, i'm finally going training tomorrow. I/C training on tues, a lot of outings, stayover at Wayne's house on friday. PACKED MAN. what a way to spend a week after my exams. :)

I hope our testimony today really impacted a lot of you guys! More than just inspiration, i pray something will spark off from here. :) I'm still very amazed at Jordan. haha, his heart of people is just whoa! :) HAHA, maybe that's why we are a team. :)

and Daryl SEE just gave me and jordan some weird animal names. he calls jordan Monkey Tng, and me Panda Luo. i guess i don't have to explain monkey tng (LOL), but he calls me panda luo cos i slept at 330 -.- okay he is a funny guy and i don't SEE him now. there's just this craze of using people's surname instead of 'chui' now HAHA. i can't imagine if our parents hear about it. it's going to be ...

HAHAHA! i'm super happy and excited now cos we just ended the year well with a wonderful CG meeting!

we had Priscilla and Wenqian to lead us in games and it was super zai okay! the atmosphere was PHEW. hahahh! they are great! then we had great sharing and worship! the most amazing thing that got me was, at the ending everyone was so eager to pray! the eagerness, you can just feel it man. haha! yup yup. but too bad we had to end it! ARGH! but that's okay! cos it will be the beginning and not the end! :)

it was all good! so after cg, we had donuts and a short hang out before heading for BM! it was super funny man. we were supposed to clean the al fresco, but we ended up taking mass photos! but i really felt that F20 and F23 really bonded closer to one another already! haha VERY ZAI! :)

feeling that we didn't pray enough, we decided that we should all pray through a prayer conference! HAHA. yea man. so we prayed for 40 mins straight on the phone and it was awesome man! HAHA :)

that was just a summary of my feelings now! so GOOD!

this is really the next level of capacity and competency for me! with powerhouse, rugby training, service days, Nick Vujicic, Pastor Kong's services. whoa. i can't believe i'm awake now when i'm going for powerhouse tmr in the morning!

anyway, powerhouse has been awesome so far! it's been really great being able to kick start your day by spending time in the presence of God. it feels weird not to start/end your day in church!!! ahhaha. anyway, powerhouse has been packed with alot of people! the sound of prayers, worship. really cool.

anyway, service today was good with Nick Vujicic! he's such a great speaker! ahha. funny charismatic guy! really faith-filled. sometimes in life, it's not about what we don't have, it's about what we have! and we have everything that we need when we have Jesus in our hearts! i was on ministry today! it was great. and i've gotta say this! prayer really helps alot in situations like these. relying on human might is definitely not enough! especially on big days like this! sometimes, all we gotta do, spend 30 mins prayer for service, friends, whole ops side, pastoral side and everything! ahahha. it was great man.

i heard from Yassy we were averaging around 1.6 - 1.7 ytd! whoa. really alot of people man. even moving around seems to be so hard! ahhaha. but i love the feeling. can't wait to be of the quantity, but this time around, with quality! what's the use of growing so big when our culture isn't there!

can't wait for service tomorrow! it's going to be awesome! anyway, i'm not going training tomorrow. prolly gonna say that i'm sick or smth. ahhaha. that's all for now!

yesterday was awesome! service was great. praise & worship was powerful. atmosphere to hold 1400! yes man. it's possible.

anointing. the word used widely in church. but do you know the real meaning of anointing? ahha. Pastor How's preaching yesterday was great! it's amazing to see pastors back in singapore! ahha yea mannnn! :) it was super duper packed yesterday. even walking around after service seems to be super hard. but i like that feeling. :)

the feeling of seeing the whole church worshipping, lifting their hands up, and singing of a love song to Jesus. U N D E S C R I B L A B L E. i don't know how to explain this. you've gotta experience it yourself!!! :)

had lights ministry photo! HOWTENG forced me to post this! :) ahhaha JUSTKIDDING! anyway, she used reverse psychology on me la! i was having my dinner with my cg people, then suddenly... "GUITAR SOLO, you sit there..." oh it's my phone ringing. "HELLO." then howteng replied, "you coming for photo shoot ornot? you late already leh." i replied. "i told weihong i'll be late already lah!!!" she replied. "nvm. you don't wanna come it's up to you." -.- obviously making me come up immediately! hahah, it was funny! just gotta love the people in lights man. esp cheena pok, mr.muscle and stupid ec wanna be! ahhaha! not forgetting BONGGGGG! :)

anyway, went chomp chomp around 11plus with alot of the leaders! and man. -.- got inside joke. arghhhhh! ahhah. but it was super embarrassing -.- the was there was great! ahahha. awesome food! we should go there again! ahha. reached home around 2am plus. lucky Sky was driving! ahhaha! woo free ride home!

managed to sleep in today cos there isn't service today. it feels weird. having no service changes the whole singapore to me! ahahha! anyway, still went down to church though. went to find Bong and mr.muscle! did my programming for Nick Vujicic! watch out for my songs! now is the time and freedom! ahhaha. :)

heart to heart talk

today was great! :)

started the day with an outing at dhoby gaut! we were going to watch high school musical 3. it was an okay show. i felt it was more of a tv kind of show rather than a movie! ahaha. anyway, thanks to Leona, it was a pretty funny movie. "SING SONG SING SONG!" and "MADONA!" ahhahahh! it was super funny! :)

Daryl surprised me quite a bit today. he's really amazing! ahaha. really cool person! yea man. run this race dood!

anyway, after that, we decided to go find nemo aka caleb at toa payoh! ahhaha. i don't know why, but i just love hanging out with caleb! he's such a fun person to be with!!! :) we actually intended to buy a clownfish for nemo, but we realized that clownfishes needed to be in saltwater to survive! so we decided not to! ahahha. i think i ate quite a lot today. -.- ahaha. anyway, i went home with Cheryl after that. i had a really heart to heart talk with her today man. sometimes, it feels so good to just tell your leader everything that is in your heart! man i really thank God for such a great leader like Cheryl. :)

anyway, Cheryl shared about us being more spiritual. i remember very long ago when Ivan/Dom or Lynette preached about being spiritual and less soulish. i think it's true ahahh! sometimes, it's not just all about fun fun fun. it's about things that is above all these! whoa powerful man. :) so let's all rise up to the next level of spiritual things! :)

okay, i'm trying to extend my post a little longer so that i could please the stupid ec-wanna be!!! ahhaha.

anyway, i'm doing lights for Nick Vujicic's service! wooo! it's going to be an awesome evangelistic event man. power-packed week! pray pray pray! breakthrough 1400!!! b r e a k t h r o u g h 1 4 0 0!!!!

chiong outing!

haha, i'm finally willing to update! this week was great! :) weekend service was good as usual! and zone F hit all time high of 169 this week! we are 11 away from our target! GOGOGO! hahah! service was great. :)

then i had lights outing yesterday. went east coast park to roller blade with the lights people! cheers to our first lights outing! ahha. super fun roller blading in the rain! heh. after that, we feasted at brian's house with bbq! ahhah! super super super cool! man we had so much food! ahha. then brian seized the moment -> momentum -> movement = dunk 7 times into the pool! lol we made so much noise until the security guard came. it was a time of super fellowship man. awesome day. then stayovered at brian's house. uber big big big big big man. ahhaa. cool house!

had sentosa outing today with F2 ceg! many more dunks today, played beach touch, soccer and basket ball! ahhaa. it was fun. :) it was more of a relaxed thing than chiong ah! ahha. coolio! anyway, i think i'm addicted to the song, 'today'. it's too good already. too good too good. ahah! go listen to it if you havent!!!

tomorrow's going to be cool. going to have training tmr morning, then most prolly follow up! ahhaha! :)

service was great

today was great! started out with lights training, then ops worship session! totally inspiring, was simply amazing! ahhaha. meeting the needs of the service, Pastors, leaders, and the church! completing the intersection of the opportunity! ahhaha.

moving on, i was preparing for service with Bryce! man it was super fun. somehow, i didn't feel the pressure, no heat no nothing! i felt great ahaha. might it was the assurance that i have sure Bong and Bryce around, but mostly from the assurance from Jesus! :) service was awesome i tell you! almost perfect! (able to tell from Jamie's smiles :) ) hahah! it was great having Bryce around man. the next time i'm doing lights is Nick Vujicic's first service with Bryce! ahaha! it's going to be great i tell you!!! hehe.

Charleston's preaching was totally applicable to me! it was great man. he preached like how Pastor How would preach! ahha. followship it must be! :) hehe. carrying the burden, fearing God, and being determined and dedicated! wowzxerx! ahaha. gotta grow in all these areas man!

left for home after my debrief ahha! had dinner with parents, then left for airport to send Pastors off! it was really alot of people! around 50 - 70 people? ahhah! pray that Pastors and leaders will have a safe journey to london! haha. yea man. it's going to be so cool man. Pastors are going to preach with Pastor Joakim! HOGC is really seeing the beginning of leadership! ahha! can't wait for Pastors to come back! :)

i've got no school tmr! but there's training still though! 9 - 11! ahha. it's going to be okay i guess. after that, i most prolly am going to check out the guitars! hahha! considering to get a new guitar! selling my old epiphone @ 100? ahha. let me know if anyone of you guys want a 2nd hand guitar! :)

lights maintainence @ 7pm! haven't been to one, but i think it's going to be cool! :)

i've been knocking out early for the past few days for whatever reasons. man. i need to up my awake-ability! ahhaa. life is good and all. with Jesus that's right! :)

i knocked out at 645PM and slept for 11 hours. best.

did my first ever follow up with Yufeng! it was on 4 hearts ahaha. it was great! :)
comp won't turn on. decided to sleep instead. -.-

9th Oct, Thursday.

YES. i'm back. ahhaa. maths paper 2 today was okay i guess. i'm left with art exam tomorrow! i'm going to draw stairway to heaven.

ahah yes yes. :) i played soccer for 2 and a half hours at the street soccer court. we totally dominated. out of the 150 mins, i think we were out of the court for about 20 mins. we were totally dominating man. Sean, Naresh, Corny, the keeper and me. wooo! ahhaa. it was fun.

okay was relaxed. nothing much happened, other than the usual crap and everything!

F23 is growing! we are about 17 this week's pre-ya! can't wait for adjusted! it's amazing how it grew man. when there were just the 4 of us. Cheryl, Jordan, Leona and i. ahha, the founding fantastic 4! it's just awesome wooo! hehe.

life's great. now that exams are over, F23 is growing, awesome man. everything's in place now! WOO.

i'm going out with Ivan tomorrow hehe. eating with him then going to his house. tomorrow's going to be great. and i'm going for rugby training tomorrow! ahhaha. first time in like? 2 weeks LOL. :)

geog and maths down

i finished my geog and maths paper 1 today and i think it was GREAT! :D geog was good, managed to remember most of the facts i memorized. maths was good too. definitely going to ace it, otherwise full marks! hahah! :) but that's only for paper 1. hopefully paper 2 is easy ahhaa.

studied science, and tomorrow's my paper! woo. just 4 more days until freedom. but wait. rugby starts all over again. -.- oh the dilemma. give me a break! ahaha. but in any case, i'm just going to get my exams done and over with! yes, that's what i'll do!

school ends at 9 tomorrow, i think. depending on my paper. i've got a lot of time tomorrow. hmm. most probably going to church as usual.

and i'm looking forward to JT's new racist jokes! ahhaha. definitely man.

soccer was great today as usual, and Naresh and i lost to Sean and Jaega by 1 goal yet again! it's really fun to play 2v2 with the dust bin as the goal post. if you ever drop by saints, i'll show you ahahha!

11 hours of sleep

wow. for the first time in many many months, i actually had 11 hours of sleep on sunday! LOL. i slept from 1245 - 1145 wow. ahhaa. today was productive i guess.

i managed to study quite a bit for my geog. actually, i managed to study quite a lot! ahhaha. i think i'm going to do fine tomorrow. i have maths tomorrow too! i think that's okay. after tomorrow, whoa, i feel like i'm even more relaxed than before! come on, it's just 1 more week! YES. 1 more week to freedom, to hanging out at Kenn's house, to jamming with friends, to endless time in church, to SOW classes, to grow in God, and to do so many things at a larger scale! woo! press on man. hehe.

prophet's freaking out cos of his inability to memorize geog, but i told him to pray and everything. prayed for him over the phone just now that i think that he's going to do just fine man. have faith dude! yes yes yes.

all i need is powerful Christian songs to get me started and going. but the only problem is, whenever i listen to these songs. i begin to sing. then the urge to touch my guitar increase. only to find myself on the guitar with the computer infront of me. -.- this happened like 3 - 4 times today. ahha. but i think this is break for me ahhaha!

Ivan booked in today man. he's going for a check up at the doc's on friday. whoa i pray that he can down pes la! -.- yea man ahaha. soon soon. it shall come to past.

okay i guess i'm going back to study already. i need someone to talk to. books are dead and it's getting really boring.

JT is racist

today was productive. went to school, had extra lessons for maths, ate with Jordan and Prophet, then headed to church. hahaha.

and i can't believe i actually lost to Kenn in street fighter for 1 round. -.- like P.M Lee said, "complacency has set in." LOL. ahhaa. i was supposed to study after that, but i got hooked on to Alastair playing the electric guitar. it was like uber uber cool man. seeing him do all the tricks ahhaa. one day, i shall be like him, when i'm like 14 or 15 years old! :) ahhaa. studied until 1230 and then Bong asked me to help Derrick with the lights a little cos he might not have enough hands ahahha! yea man. so i helped him a while and it was pretty much nothing. but, i had some exposure ahhaa. can't wait for my exams to be over so that i can programme lights again! :)

Zone F service was great as usual! ahhaha. like as usual! Pastor Lia preached about a practical sermon on how to be a great testimony in school! it was great! then Orchid Park secondary shared testimony about how being a great testimony in church is really important! we had Jason, Shaun, Josephine and lastly my great buddy Kenn! :) ahaha it was awesome man. hehe.

Main service was awesome too. we were in the main service while zone F was in marina square. i totally loved every single part of the service. Praise and worship was great. communion was awesome. word was short but powerful. okay i emphasize on SHORT! cos it was really short. it eneded at 650 which rarely happens! ahhaa! :)

then we hanged out with JT, Yun How, and DJ at macs! ahhaha they are so uber funny. we have JT the random guy, Yun How forever lagging, and DJ just being so random ahahha! :) it's great to have them around man. it's a joy! :) hehe.

i managed to talk to Ivan for the whole night. even talking to him for like almost 1 hour doesn't seem to be enough! ahhaa. so there we were, Sinfei, Benny, Ivan and me, talking about stretching to army, to taking photos, to singing songs in army, and random stuff! it was great man. Ivan promised me to go to the tree house with me the next time i asked him too! :) hehe. great man. i can't wait for next week when my exams are over, and i can really fellowship and followship with Ivan! :) hehe.

today was great. awesome. and i'm going to study tomorrow ahaha. yes! chiong ah! 1 last week of exams. 1 last week of chionging and i'm freeeeeee! hehe! :)

went to church to study today. i guess it was okay man. i managed to study chinese and hung out with a couple of my church friends. i'm really really really feeling the intensity and heat now. but i'll just stand with You when faith and fear collide! :)

it feels good to be back in mpr1 for prayer meetings. it's been awhile ever since i've gone for prayer meetings. Joanne was leading prayer meeting today and it was great! :) ahhaa. coolio man. growth is coming, we need more labourers! haha. let our leadership be strong in HoGc! :) just simply awesome.

i learnt some songs from Chunkit and Mark! ahaha. they are super zai in guitar woo! not forgetting Ian! ahhaa. worship team people are crazily good! ahhaa! okay i really gotta start memorizing all the stuff that i need to know already. time is running away. can't wait for exams to be over man. there's so much for me to do! some many areas for me to grow in! :)

i'm thinking if i should pon school tmr to study at home. but i decided not to since there's P.E tmr and i think my teacher is going to go through some impt stuff with us tmr. ahaha. so i've decided not to.

i finished both my paper 1 for english and chinese today. it was great i guess. prayed a little before each paper started and i could already feel the faith rising! haha. prayer that move mountains. :) left for church soon after and Sean said he wanted to follow us to church ahha okay so we went. managed to study a little until the cat high people came! ahaha! then hong jie, indian and sunny came along too! ahhaa. it was super funny!

totally full of laughter today man :) it was so funny, but we managed to study though, except for False Prophet Marcus. -.- ahhaa. it was some epic fun disturbing hong jie with all the high pitch screamings ahhha!

okay, can i tell you about a guy in my cg by the name of Lim Yu Feng! okay, he's like super zai okay. he so far, has brought 4 friends to church, when he is only 2 weeks old in our church! super cool person man. :) today, he brought another friend called Nicholas Shen. (why is the whole world having my name!!! maybe i should change my name when i get water baptized LOL). so we chatted for awhile, hung out a while and left for home later since he stay at loyang point! yea yea. it was great man. i found out more about Yufeng and Nicholas Shen. it was great man. Yufeng even asked me, "how many people do we have in F23 currently?"
i told him, "12, why eh?"
he answered, "no la, i want F23 to grow to 15, so i shall bring more friends to church this saturday. we shall not lose to Jiaxin's CG!"

OWN ALREADY I TELL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D JIAXIN AHAHHAHA! we got secret weapon leh! hehehe. he even told me that he remembers that one of our 7 pillars is giving, so he has already prepared the offering for this week's service. awesome guy man. i pray that more people like Yufeng are going to come. we are easily going to hit 15!

called Cheryl, and she was like super happy! :) we are changing our faith target to 20 man. twenty. er shi ge ren leh! ahhahaha! that's right. with God, all things are possible :)

i can't wait for the meeting with Cheryl tomorrow! it's going to be awesome man. we gotta plan for F23 if not, we are going to miss the harvest!!! haha yea, after that, there's follow up for Jedric WOOO! F23 is going to get stronger man. even Yufeng can start follow up :) hehe. awesome man. we are going to grow grow grow. just wanna thank God for all these man. gonna worship him and give thanks some more later. you are a great God man. :)

i'm starting to feel the heat piling up. maybe because my first paper starts tomorrow? ahaha, i guess that's the reason. okay, so i spent the whole night reading past year compositions, and practising the format for letter writings. ahha. so funny how the person's face flashes in my mind when i read the author's name.

i guess i'm just gonna pray, read my bible, worship God somemore and really depend on Him already. so these are the songs that kept me studying.

i guess these are the songs that will keep me through until 10th oct! ahha! eng paper 1 and chi paper 1 starts tomorrow, gotta do well man. just gotta keep praying and studying. some people drift away from God when exams are drawing near, but let us be a different generation. let us be closer to Him even as the exams are approaching. not saying that we aren't close to God when exam's aren't here, but we should be doubly as close since we need all the strength, all the wisdom that is of Jesus. as the Bible says, as we draw near to God, he will draw near to us. :)

prayers that move mountains. one day, my prayers shall move Mount Everest. yes, it will! gonna study in church tomorrow after my papers. gonna mug geog and chinese. lol @ chinese. those words are like sklaoqkflasntosjt to me. -.- oh well.

can't wait for examinations to be over. was just talking to my sister just now, and she said. "whoa, now your holiday more than 2 months sia! machiam 1 whole term of holidays!" ahha, come to think of it, yea, it's quite true! ahaha. just can't wait for examinations to be over. gonna do so much more in church, going have so much more fun, going to grow in so many areas in my life! :)

outings or not?

so today started out weird.

i slept til 10am. watched anime til 1130am. then i went back to sleep until 130pm! WHOA IT FELT GOOD! but weird at the same time! ahhaa, it's been awhile ever since i could sleep in on sunday mornings! ahhah! so i decided to go study with Jordan and Wayne at pasir ris library since i couldn't come church today cos Dom wants us to study ahhaha! met Jordan and Wayne there, and had some inside jokes! i think really, i need to find people that can REALLY REALLY REALLY study to study with! ahahha. i really need to study! ahhaha. man man man. after awhile, we went to macs to study cos some librarian chased us out. ahah! upon reaching macs, we were seating infront of some really really really noisy people. so we did some stupid stuff! LOL. we asked them to shut up, and when they left the place, we really shouted "YAY" LOL EPIC MOMENT!!!!! we even raised our hands ahahahahhah! xD so funnayeeee!

i really couldn't study -.- so the plan is to chiong tmr!!! ahhaa. so we played around, and waited for Ivan to come out from camp!!! ahhaha you know, the feeling of waiting for someone to precious, it's like waiting for your super close sister that has gone overseas to study for 2 years to come back. but in this case, it's only 2 weeks!!! :) ahha. it was great man! we met Ivan, and talked to him for quite a bit on the train! :) it was totally awesome, being able to talk to Ivan again!!! when we reached outside of Singpost, everyone went googoogaga over Ivan's return! ahahha so funny man. everyone was staring at us! xD ahaha. everyone missed Ivan like crazy! ahhaa. then we had an epic moment with Pastor How and Pastor Lia in the admin's office!! it's so funny. the way Ivan hugged Pastor How, Charleston, Jianming, his bro Elgin and his sis Brenda! :) it's so warmy cosy homey feeling! ahaha. :) spent the rest of the day with Ivan hehe.

then, i had a meeting with the F2 leaders! whoa, our zone is really growing man!!! it. is. GROWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we F2 alone hit 80 people man. eighty. ba shi ge ren leh! ahahhah! :) the best part is, it's actually the exam period, and the revival is happening! who says that people can't come to church during the exam period? it's precisely during the exam periods that they need God even more! :) hehe. F23 brokethrough 12, and i believe they are going to stay! :) hehe. so many exciting things happening in F2. someday, we are going to overtake D Zone and be the largest and fastest growing zone in church!!! :) it's going to be possible yeaaa!

soccer, guitar and Bible

and i figured out that soccer is like guitars and Bibles. the more you play, the better you are, the more fun it gets! ahhaa. i had a great time learning some street soccer tricks and juggling moves from Naresh's bro, aahha. he's good man! ahaha.

somehow, i still don't feel the intensity of exams kicking in. i still find myself slacking -.- ahhaa. i think it's a good thing cos i don't feel so stressed up and pressurized after seeing some of my friends in other schools ahahha!

i'm going to study with F23 tomorrow at 430pm! ahha, i hope i won't be distracted by things man. ahhaa! gotta get all the sci and geog facts into my mind! yea! ahhah! :) i believe tomorrow's going to be great! ahhaa!!!! yes, it will! :)

guitars and Bibles

playing the guitar is like reading the Bible! the more you play the guitar, the better you get at it, able to play more songs, then you will enjoy playing the guitar even more! where as for the Bible, the more you read the Bible, the more knowledge you have, the more interesting it gets, hence you want to read the Bible even more! they are so similar! ahhaha. i think really, it's all about cultivating a habit, and making sure you stick to it!

today was fun ahhaa. initially, i was supposed to study with Kenn and Bryan at pasir ris library, but instead, we went to Bryan's house! ahah, obviously we didn't study there! we were jamming on the guitar for the whole afternoon! it was great man. playing some great songs ahaha. i thought Bryan how to play Hosanna. ahahha! coolio. Kenn and i were playing friends forever LOL. ahah it was so funny. it was great spending time with them ahahha!

went home after that with Kenn hehe. one day, after exams, we should all jam again! man i feel like getting a new guitar. one that has uber good action and sound! ahhaa. my current Epiphone has great sound, but the action is too imba already. playing for 30mins can kill your fingers hahaha! studied only for abit, but i think i've pretty much covered most of the topics for geog except for rivers ahahh! chiong ahhhh! :)

tomorrow, i'm seriously going to study! ahhah. like serious. woo! :)

5 more days 'til Ivan's return! countdown! ahhahaha! hehe. :)

i heard Bryan's batch of anglican high students have prayer meetings ahhaa. awesome la. lol, he told me that he will play hosanna for the prayer meeting hehe. practise and practise man! ahhaa. cool guy. ahhaha! i'm off to do my stuff already ahahha.

it was great talking to Ivan on the phone yesterday! :) haven't seen him in exactly a week now! gotta taupok him when he comes out man!!! :) 6 more days!! come on!! :)

school today was okay i guess. as usual, mondays are always like these. went home after that, did my usual routine and all. studied with distractions all around me, *COUGHmsnsmsbedCOUGH* but overall i think today was quite good, memorized quite alot of stuff! yea man. hahaha. :)

role models? they are people that you see as great people and want to follow after. but the most important thing about this is growing yourself, to BE yourself, and not to be the person. yes, you can look at the way your role model does things, but ultimately it's about you catching the heart and convictions about the whole thing. it's about just being yourself while growing in all areas. no point trying to be someone else. unknowingly, i've been role model to quite a few people already. maybe for the weirdest reasons, but whatever man. just be yourself! :)

let's start with saturday's discipleship class! hahaha.

i asked Ivan before he went to army about the foundations of being a great cgl, but Charleston answered my question instead. ahahha. Charleston told me that a great cgl should:

emotionally stable
have favour with people
have flow/chemistry (very important)
character

emotionally stable, we must be prepared for problems to come! with great power comes great responsibility. that's very true! whatever we face, we have to pick ourselves up! we cannot always depend on our leaders to push us on, check if we are okay. we really have to move to a whole new level of stability in my emotions! be dependent on God and not other people, or even your own successes! :)

favour with people. very obvious isn't it! how to lead your sheep with they curse you eat fish ball choke, walk on the road kena bang, walking step on banana skin. -.- we really have to grow favour with men! how to lead when people hate us? we must have a likable character! people need to love hanging out with us! :)

flow/chemistry. what Wayne always says, "whoa you no flow ah" ahhah! yea, it's really true! no flow no link no efficiency. :) we really have to flow with our leaders, let their visions be our visions, hang around them, know what they like and whatnot. we need to have open hearts towards our leaders, and great relationships. will our leader think of hanging out with us when they have a free day? do they enjoy spending time with us? this is not a question about insecurity, but really, it's about flow and chemistry. we mustn't draw people to ourselves! i mean like... why make them love you more than they love Pastor's the first leadership and ultimately God? yea lor.

and lastly, character. integrity, perseverance, convictions, and basically the 7 pillars of HOGC. will we do our QTs faithfull everyday even if we don't feel like it? even if we are super tired? will we not be stagnant in our spirit, but rather grow in God and lead people by revelations? do we love to evangelise and love people? do we smoke our leaders? or do we tell the truth? these are all character issues. really. build our character strong man! :)

moving on to Zone F service! :) it's always to power packed with Pastor Lia's preaching. i'm already looking forward to next week's service! :)

faith makes us able, and not, being able gives us faith. faith brings about abilities, abilities do not bring about faith! besides, we should also live our lives expecting miracles, expecting the presence of God to touch us. be EXPECTANT!!!
though faith enlarges us, fear shrinks us! do not react the natural way, but react supernaturally when you face a problem! pray about it, seek God! faith is EXCITING! :) Zone F's service totally just went up a whole new level. we are ready for the harvest of 180, then 200! the atmosphere really changed yesterday. everyone was just so simply engaged. nothing beats seeing your zone growing stronger by the week, days and even hours. it's so awesome! coming to past, whatever we have been praying for! not only a breakthrough in atmosphere, but a breakthrough in attendance! the last 10 minutes of the service was mind blowing. we were praying as loud as the youth service! that was totally ready for 180 people. why should it only be at the end of the service that we have such strong atmosphere? it must start and end with a BANG!:) now, the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few! even as we grow, i pray for more leaders to rise up! :) catch the heart behind this man!!! :)

after service, we went to t3 as a zone to have some serious fun! food was great, fellowship was awesome! then after all that, we decided to go to the viewing gallery. but suddenly, chunkit and i got lost LOL. so we found Lynette and Joanne! we decided to colour some stuff at the airport, but in the end, the 4 of us started making paper aeroplanes! AHHAH! it was super funny! and we flew our planes. man Joanne's plane sure can fly! ahhaha. it was totally funny!

heart to heart session with Dom up next!
Dom shared a really powerful sermon! it talks about pressing towards our dreams, goals and visions, but at the same time, be unsatisfied with what we have. we are built to hunger for me. ever at bak chok mee and still crave for macdonalds? yea, that's the point! while being unsatisfied draws us to our dreams, just a fine line across, discontentment brings us away from our dreams. contentment = peacefully happy. the best person = contented, but unsatisfied. contentment is about being secured in who we are and be happy, and not jealous. unsatisfied is about pushing for more in a godly manner.

1 Timothy 6:6
Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
really powerful verse. this verse is revelation to Ivan and Dom. it is revelation to me also. we are all godly people, we love God, give God our all, but are we contented? that's the question to ask. keep the fine line of unsatisfied and contentment! :)

ops meeting like 830 in the morning. -.- ahha i slept like for 6 hours 15 mins. ahahha! for us as ministry people, we really need to be carriers of God's presence. we are like Obed-Edom! gotta be strong physically and spiritually man! :) we need to be God dependent and not self-sufficient! sometimes we wonder why are we doing the mundane, week in week out the same stuff each time! it's because we don't live by revelations. we need first-hand revelations, not revelations of our leaders, and Pastors. although it's good to have all these, but ultimately these are only guidelines! we need revelation straight piping hot from God! also, we need to maintain and stay consistent! :) flow with God, Pastors and leaders! ops meeting was great! :)

although school ended at 940 today, i went to play soccer and it was a total disaster. i got owned by some random junior school kid. he rammed a soccer ball at my ankle and BOOM. it's sprained already. -.- that's not cool at all. went to the sinseh after that. it's always scary when he has to 'pop' my ankle back. whoa it really hurts! gosh. -.- okay then he wrapped my ankle with some herb thingy. luckily it's only for 8 hours. which means i dont have to go church with that smelly thing tmr. ahhah! :)

went to study with Yulian and Randyne at pasir ris today. we were supposed to study at tampines library, but i realised it was so crowded! okay, so from today onwards, pasir ris library will be my mugging place. ahahha! yup yup. ahhahh! everytime i mug with friends in the library, we will definitely make too much noise! ahhaa. today we got asked to shut up by some cedar girls -.- it was totally embarrassing, but whatever! ahhaha. okay so we were joking around and everything, then i said
"randyne, you no need study ah?"
"my first exam is english. no need study one, i'm english SPOKEN"

then LOLOLOLOL. that was when they asked us to shut up. AHHAHA. LOL. joke of the day. the rest of the time there was funny as well. i smsed randyne, "Hi, LOL. :)" when i was just beside him. the power of starhub! unlimited smses! :) ahhaha coolio! i just realised that my standard of science is almost as good as dunman high's standard! after studying with Yulian, i went home with him. i had a great talk with him man. i've been talking to alot of people about their lives recently! ahahha, it's going to be great man. don't be so stressed Yulian! take a break, have a kit kat! :)

i played for Wayne's cg today, wasn't the best of skills, but i guess it was okay. Wayne told me that sometimes, it's not about the skills, but it's because of the Presence of God that ministers to people. i'm still going to really brush up my guitar skills until i become really really good. like really really really good! ahaha! yea yea. Dom preached today in their cg, but i didn't stay cos i went home earlier.

i realise i cannot nap cos my nap will turn me into someone who wastes the night away. i didn't study for the last 2 nights already cos i was napping away. so i WILL NOT NAP ANYMORE! yes, i will pray for supernatural strength instead! :) ahhaha.

tomorrow's going to be great! meeting Yulian and Randyne to study at Tampines library! hehe. okay this is my plan tomorrow.

today's lesson was okay i guess, as usual! ahhaa. our chinese teacher came back, after marking the n levels. every lesson was good i guess.

cg was great today! we experienced breakthrough man!!! 8 people for the first time :) yes yes, 10 then 15 is going to be easy peasy! we played pepsi cola before cg, and it was great! jedric brought 2 new friends, and we got to know them better through pepsi cola! if you cg hasn't played pepsi cola yet, i really encourage you to play it! it is really super fun! :)

i guess it was pretty good, with 2 new friends around. :) and so Cheryl preached about the new 7 pillars of Heart of God Church.

we don't want just any 1400 Christians, but we really what Christians that are strong in these 7 areas. can i tell you that there are just awesome people in my cg! :) there's Prophet, Jedric, Yufeng and Caleb! while on my way home after cg, i found out that Yufeng stayed really near me! ahaha, we can go eat supper together one day man! yup, i really talked alot, for the whole journey home with him. he is really awesome man. i actually forgotten to bring my wallet home from church, so i actually had to go back to get it when i was already at the mrt station. so i told Yufeng to go first cos i didn't want him to wait. but he actually went back with me and searched for my wallet with me :) he is cool man. Caleb's awesome too. he is really friendly, and really nice :) whoa i hope both of them really get planted!!! then it's a blessing already man. PRAY PRAY PRAY!

Ivan's left for army, and i won't see him for 2 weeks already ahahha! so not coolio oolio!

today was pretty good, i didn't fall asleep during lessons! ahhaha! everything was great i think. then i went to meet Jason at city hall today. he said he wanted to buy Kustom Culture, so i brought him to the place ahhah! nice right, Jason! ^^ i bet you are going to wear it to church this saturday! ahahha! anyway, went home after that. man i was supposed to sleep for only 30 mins, but i slept for 1 and a half hours! that is really bad. ate my dinner, and did my QT. studied studied and studied later on.

tomorrow's going to be great! going to have a study outing with xq tmr! whoa i hope really can study, otherwise, it's going to be a waste of time! ahahha! yup yup. :) ahahha! great great great. chiong ah! just 2 more weeks from my exams! by the time Ivan comes out from the army, my exams will be over! then whoa, it's going to be even better than now! :)

today was the highlight of the month. it's super awesome. firstly, i had discipleship class with Ivan. it was his last discipleship class with us cos his going to army on monday! sian, so fast! anyway, it was just talking, worship, praying and Q&A. it was great. we wrote down our heart's burning question on paper and passed it to paper. one question that Ivan answered really ministered to me. how to increase our capacity. we need to firstly, plan, live by the revelation of God and keep on pushing with whatever we do! sometimes, it's all about pushing on! it's just a little further, just a little more, just a little stronger. i feel that i really need to grow in that area! i don't want to be someone that has competency but has no capacity. i not only want to be competent with 5 people, but i also want to be competent with 50! yea. sometimes it's also about practical stuff that we do! just chiong ah!!!

after that, we had Zone F service. it was awesome!!! Pastor Lia was preaching today, and she preached about Faith! faith faith faith, when Pastor How and Pastor Lia mentions about Faith so many times, then we must really apply what she said! we must be more than listeners, but do-ers of the word! Pastor Lia preached about the power of our tongues, and our minds! our tongues are like the rudders! although it's small in size, but it's power is deadly. as the Bible says, the tongue has the power of Life and Death. yes yes yes! and the mind? it's all interlinked! it's so powerful how it will works together. during ministry time, it was really amazing! we shouted, "WE BELIEVE, THIS IS OUR GENERATION! GIVE US OUR GENERATION! I WILL BELIEVE THAT MY GENERATION WILL COME!" it was simply a milestone. let us really take responsibility of our own zone! it's not just our Pastors and leaders job to grow the generation, but it's ours now! few years back, Pastor Lia was praying for our generation. but now, it's our time to pray for our own generation, and the generations to come! let's grow grow grow!

main service was next! it was totally great! Zanele Makina preached to us about leadership. the Divine feature of leadership. the main point is to be humble! humility is the way! the way up is the way down! whoa, it's really true! sometimes as leaders, we really need humility! it's all about having a big heart, and being spirit-led. sometimes, we let our emotions to rule us, our will to rule us, and our minds to rule us! maybe, it's time we let our spirit man take the driver's seat! during ministry time for main service, when Zanele Makina was praying for our leadership, i took the opportunity to go infront. 4th dimension envisioning!

lastly, i had heart to heart session with Mae Ann. it was awesome! Mae Ann preached about leaders being broken or professional. it is really amazing. sometimes, we all get so caught up with our lives and the things we do, we do things so professionally, sometimes, we do things because we are told to do so and only want results from our sheep. but sometimes, all we need is just to meet the needs of our sheep, and fulfill their dreams. she also said that pride and insecurity that gets in our ways. sometimes, our peers do better than us in the things that we do, and all we do is compare ourselves with our peers! while doing so, we will lose track of our destiny that God has planned for us! i feel, we really need to grow until we become someone who seeks security in God and no one else.

talk about capacity grow. 4 ministries in a day! grow grow grow in capacity! awesome yo! tmr's going to be even better! :)

school was pretty good today, i think! ahhah! i didn't fall asleep in class today! wooo!

went to meet Ivan at Dhoby Ghaut after school! we then went for buffet lunch! whoa super nice man i tell you :) awesome! hehhe. we ate til we couldn't take any more! ask Jiaxin how much she ate LOL! ahahh! yea yea, it was great fellowship too! we talked about soccer to WWE to everything under the sun! ahahh! yea yea, there's also a super funny inside joke about SMU, This Fashion, City Bank and CATHY! ahhah! funny man :) ahhah!

after eating, we went to soccer! ahahh! it was okay i think. hehe. shared with Ivan how i felt though. felt much better after that!! :)

went to city hall to chill out for abit after soccer, hung out at macs and we all said that we would never eat at macs ever again! whoa, the price is super crazy!!! ahha, shared quite alot of stuff with Jordan Wayne and Prophet! ahhah! then headed off home in Jordan's dad's car! ahahha awesome day man! :)

tomorrow's going to be even better!!! yes it will be :) pretty tired already, going to bathe, read my bible for a while and sleep! see you guys tomorrow in church! :)

school was okay today, i think! ahha! ponned training and went to church after school. met Prophet and we were headed to church! he was going to have follow up! hahah! it was awesome. Follow up lesson (3), relationship with God! ahhah! yea man. it was coolio! ahahhah! hung out with Ivan a little before going down to get my Ramly!

i asked almost all of the people i saw in church who wanted Ramly, but only GongHua and Sinfei wanted, so oh well. yea, went down with Prophet, joked about with him and stuff ahahh! oh yea, can i tell you that Prophet memorized the whole sequence of the new testament on the bus ride to church! cool huh?! okay, back to what i was saying, so we headed down for Ramly! ahahh! it was good, i think! bought some stuff and went up!

i was actually about to eat, but went for prayer meeting instead! ahahh! it was great! :) ate with Sinfei and Gonghua later. it was so funny! especially Gonghua! she said that we were eating so slowly, but in fact, she's like the slowest! and she purposely made me talk while eating just so she could call me unglam! LOL. butttttt! she's the most unglam one ahhha!

went to find Ivan after my Ramly! ahhaa, joked with him about Nadine's pitching! "do you need a tuner?" ahahha! xD didn't stay too long cos Ivan had cg, so yea, i went back to lights with Howteng. as usual, she taught me some stuff that i didn't know! hahah!

was planning the games for CEG tmr! i believe it's going to be great!!! :) ahhaha! yea munxzx! going to have loads of fun games and good food! not only physical, but spiritual too! :) ahha gotta come man! coolio olio!

had a revelation whilst reading my bible yesterday. more of a reminders' revelation if there ever were a term! ahahh! was just reading a short chapter of 1 Samuel 12: 12 - 15. in modern context, it talks about why we should have worldly "kings" over our lives rather than our Heavenly King? in other words, why should we let insecurities, guilt, unforgiveness, anger, hatred, and sin reign over our lives when we have Jesus? also, it talks about the Fear of God. for h2h people, doesn't that sound really really familiar? yea, Fear the Lord and obey his commands! :) go read it, it's awesome! that's all for tonight!

Zone F broke through yesterday! :) we had an all time high of 161 people attending service! man man man! it's awesome :) on the whole, our church hit 1108 people! whoaaaaaaaa! super cool! :) at this rate, we will definitely hit 1400! :) but it just depends on what kind of people do we want. we want strong Christians, built on the 7 pillars of Heart of God Church.

okay, moving on, today was great i think! ahhaa. was pretty slack. i managed to stay awake! i've already set my heart on not falling asleep during lessons! it's the last 3 weeks already! gotta chiong studies! :) ahha! lessons were quite fun today. but, man i lost my pencil case in school today! -_- i don't know how i lost it man!!! i'm not sad cos of my pencil case, but the stuff inside!

after school, lunched with sean. it was pretty funny with narash and his jokes! ahha! yea. and all of us thought that we were fitness test, but it turns out to be the most slack training ever since the finals. ahha! it was great. if only everyday was like today! ahah! :) kicked around with the ball after training, and went home with Sean and Jordan. it was a long journey home, slept in the bus ahha! coolio.

did my usual routine, but God just told me that, we shouldn't just do our QTs as a routine and see it as a chore. we don't see drinking water and eating our dinners as a chore do we? then why do most of us see HAVING (not doing) our QTs as a chore? it's a mindset change over here! yea!

tmr's going to be great. follow up with Marcus, then most likely programming with Bong ahhaha! wooo! gogo stay focussed!!!

i remember at the start of the year, during rugby training, i saw Marcus Tan and i didn't like him cos he tackled me LOL. but now, he's on the same team as me right now, against the Devil. awesome and ironic isn't it? aha! anyway, marcus is awesome! :) but i still own you in street fighter LOLOL! ahahhahahhah! ^^

had lights training today, learnt how to use more of the board ahha! awesome yo! then went to have lunch with lights people! as usual, we had alot of laughter with kwei hong already! CHINA MANNNNN! hahah! he's so funny! :) slacked around, hung out with bong and kwei hong.

went for prayer meeting, and i can sense that marcus' prayer life has gone up a level! keep growing man :) ahhah yea! service was great as usual! though it was the same message as yesterday, it was still as powerful! haha! opportune timing! moment -> momentum -> movement! gogo lets move and shake the world! let's be significant!

went for usher meeting, and Peck Hoon and Gang Yuan got promoted to 2nd IC! whoa cool! :) and i've completed my BMT (B)! man so many of them misses me and wants me to stay in usher LOL. just kiddng :) ahaha! so now, it's all about lights! i'm programming for next sunday's service, For Your Glory with How Teng and Kennen. :) it's going to be great! ahhah!

celebrated Cheryl's birthday in a moment, but man. she was busy, if not, she could have eaten the cake! ahha, but oh well, there will always be another time! :) hehehhe! really glad that you liked the presents :) hehhe!!!

my morning was free today! no h2h session, no discipleship classes. though it felt weird, it was good. allowed me to sleep in a little! ahahha! i haven't been sleeping much this holidays! everything was bam bam bam, tiring but definitely fulfilling! :)

reached church around 12, hung out with cheng ming, heard 41st prac. awesome yo! then i played street fighter with jordan and marcus! ahhaha! man, i need to brush up on my skills!! then i reported for usher! it was my last usher duty already heheh! pretty sad, since ushering is so fun!!! it really is :)

ahha! today had a great sleep! really just what i needed after a few days of not sleeping! ahhaa. woke up at 11am, started to do my homework and slacked a little. did my stuff and headed to church! it was weird, seeing no one in church on a friday afternoon! weird indeed. but i saw bong's lightings for this week's service! it was great :) no wonder she's called bong! but do you guys know how did she get her name bong? it's because in secondary school, someone spelt her name wrongly! AHHA! her real name is Heong Yee. sounds korean right? but bong told me it's hokkien LOL. weihong and i couldn't stop laughing! ahhah!

hung out with noni and a few ushers & securities at the game consoles! man i'm going beat you noni! i willllll! xD ahha! it was fun. meet fifi and pansuri(?) i was supposed to be studying! ahhaa, fifi told me to study, but i went to find a guitar instead! man, i always see pan with a guitar! like everytime i see her at the console, she's always with a guitar! ahhaha!

a shocking news, i saw furong with SHORT HAIR! yea, that's right, he cut his hair LOL. even my hair is longer than his now!!! xD so all of us hinted to keegan, when is he going to cut his hair! LOL. and furong is no longer sarah cos he cut his hair, so we are calling him... SAMUEL NOW LOL! :) hehe.

helped noni and keegan with the chairs, it was so funny, testing out the chairs and replacing the spoilt ones. yea, so we set up 400 chairs! then we waited and waited and waited for the audience to come in! it was the KO night, organised by old school, affiliated to chc. ahha! i did lights for that event! it was pretty easy, after bong told me what to do! ahhaha! yyea man. yeaaaa! headed home after that already!

there's no zone f service tomorrow! sian! but i've got usher tmr, and it's my last bmt usher! :) ahha! i believe that it's going to be awesome!

Heart Fest '08 was awesome! ahah! we did alot of crazy stuff together!
we played human table soccer, foams and bubbles, moving house, world's fastest eating competition, water bombs and more! it was great man. having fun in the house of God. :)

but what's more important here? it's a seed that's being sown into the lives of our new friends! heart to heart session with Ivan really paved the way how i should integrate my friends. be a FRIEND, not just FRIENDLY! we also gotta have the wisdom and heart to integrate our friends. though our passion may last a moment, it's our convictions that lasts us a life time! what keeps our leaders like Ivan, Cheryl keep on doing what they are doing despite the mundane? it's convictions like this! i've already convicted my heart. i wanna tell all of my friends that i brought to heaven, i want to see you saved because i can't bear to see you go to hell. that is the cry of my heart. and lastly, we just have gotta pray and envision. :)

beyond all the fun and laughter, today's message was great! Dom preached about races, and how it brought the best and worse of men. it's so true! i felt like that sermon was for me. sometimes, it's not about winning. it's about finishing the race! as a sportsmen, i think it is already within me, that desire to always win! but i remember very long ago, when Ivan told me that channel this drive into something that i can use for God. this, i will never forget! :) one day, i'm going to have this drive becoming a conviction in my heart, that i can use for God! :) yup! had a great day today!

chalet was awesome. uber uber uber fun i tell you! :)

first, we arrived at some ulu ulu chalet in middle of no where. it was super creepy. we took like 15minutes to get to that place -_- then, we did BMI in that place. it was. totally. FUN AND FUN AND FUN and definitely very wet. the funniest bmi ever! we all "back slided" LOL. Jianming even "back slided" 3 times! ahaha! don't get me wrong, backslide means, we were sliding on our backs! ahahh! get the videos from Jianming! it's so funny! ahhah! highlight of the afternoon.

after that, we washed up and did our own QT. what more to ask than to do QT with friends that go through thick and thin with you? it was awesome. presence was definitely here. after that, we headed for dinner at changi village! it was a tiring walk, but definitely a fun one! we were talking, and trying to scare people! i also tried to trip afew people! xD ahha had a great time! dinner was great, then we headed back to the chalet!

rested for awhile, met Ivan, Dom and Mae Ann! it was great seeing Ivan after not seeing him for the whole day ahha! then we geared up for heart to heart session with Dom. it was amazing. having the Fear of the Lord. how important! it is even more important that loving God. what really hit me was, though we people may love God, be touched by His Presence and cry non-stop, but it is only by the Fear of the Lord that they will be changed from their old ways. how true is that! God clearly told me that, i must have the Fear of the Lord even with the littlest of things! wow. awesome. leader of thousands starts by leading youself!

pretty tired after that, went to sleep with Ivan, Dom and Jianming! ahha it was super cold. man i really need to bring a jacket to chalets nowadays! ahah!

had a funny and casual talk with jason, josephine, chelsea, mark, eeshen and kenn this morning! ahha it was so funny seeing how all of them don't wanna go to school even though they had already woken up! especially jason! ahha his so funny! xD the rest is pretty much history!

did my stuff and everything, headed to ikea. fellowshipped with Eugene and a few of our zone f people. it's great. ahah! going to Jordan's house tomorrow to get ready a few items. ahha. i learnt how to play "Take all of me" today during SOW, man it's hard, but i'm going to over come it! what if? why not? ahah! :)

Pastor Tan preached about role vs purpose yesterday. awesome message. as men, we should not like the ladies take the driver seats already for God created us for greater things. let's really depend on God and not make excuses for any mistakes we made. i'm just so blessed by the service yesterday. oh Lord the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. let us rise up to bring the harvest in o God. yesterday during Pastor Tan's service, when he was praying for all the cgls and pcgls, i hesitated. i didn't know if i should up. man. i totally missed it. gosh i won't be a girl anymore!!!

3 more months. grow & expand in all areas, i pray. something really hit me yesterday. sister Mae Ann told me casually, "hey nick, when you were sharing your testimony, really carries God's presence." it was totally awesome, very uplifting. because i know i've been headed in the right direction. sometimes, it's just all about going that extra mile, to pray more, to pray louder, to pray a little longer during our QT. even for some of us, it's that a little more to even START doing our QT. as we be faithful in the small things, God will entrust greater things to us! how can God give you 300 sheep to lead when you can't even lead 3?

also, on saturday, during heart to heart session with ivan, he asked us to pray for one another. it's just so amazing how the Holy Spirit drops information about a certain person to pray for. imagine what can we be without our Holy Spirit? we wouldn't even know what need to pray for that person! so after i prayed for Kenn, he shared with me, that everything that i prayed for him was on mind all the while. i really hope everything's going to be alright man. it is!

so the holidays are here! are you going to spend 12 hours a day on the computer? or are you going to make use of this time to make a difference in other people's and your life? Heart Fest, thursday 1-6pm at payalebar mrt. COME AND HAVE FUN!!! see you there man! :)

today is so amazing.

started out strong with a prayer meeting during heart to heart session with Ivan. it was so powerful, despite the loud sounds of the jet planes. but i felt God telling me, we should be like the jet planes. we should be precise and accurate, fast to do anything, and at the same time, make a lot of noise and let others know we are in the house!! i'm totally amazed! :)

then i went to prepare for my testimony! it was great! something Maril said that i felt really strongly for. she said there, when you share testimony, it's not about you being scared or anything, but it's about that 1 life that's going to be changed by your testimony! so trueee! :) yup. so as i was preparing and everything, there wasn't much changes to be made. Rinnah was there with me and i kept looking at her and smiling! ahhaa. :)

worship was great today. yet another level. treasure Jesus' love because he died for us, there was blood on his hands. sharing testimony for the first time was pretty scary. but, in all, it was pretty good. then, Pastor Lia preached. it WILL be by faith that we all shall walk. Hebrews 11, will your name be there? lets fill Hebrews 11 with our names. :)

after service, Ivan brought me and jordan to a corner, and shared a few things with us. it totally broke my heart to see what i've become. i'm sorry, Jordan. i promise you it will never never NEVER happen again! we will become brothers like once before! :) awesome. awesome. awesome.

shared for main service this time around, but it didn't feel as scary as before! ahah maybe it was because that it was my 2nd time doing already! as i came down from the stage, i saw Pastor How giving me a thumbs up! wow, that really assured me! :)

i left halfway during the 2nd worship, as i thought Ivan's going bugis with the rest of Zone F. but in the end, we played monopoly in the art gallery! there was Ivan, Cheryl, Jordan, Nictan, Leona, Wenqian, Priscilla and Shini. it was so super funny! they were playing and everything, and even though Cheryl & i were in the game, most of the time we were in the world of our own, laughing to ourselves and disturbing each other! it was so funny! :) yup yup, we did make alot of noise, but, we are ZONE F MAN!!!

after service, they screened GXT latest productions again. it was amazing. so funny! and the rest was all the routine stuff. so great to be in church! :) awesome yo!

a walk down memory lane.
so much happening stuff now.

as i walked into gongshang, there's just that sense of belonging. our much beloved school. to think that i used to hate school. now, there's such a deep longing to want to come back to gongshang. many people have changed, some for the better, some otherwise.

so scary, how drastically they can change over a short period of time. as i walked through school and everything, i thought of the things that i was doing last time, and how i hated it. so true that we will only treasure things when they perish. why must it always be this way? thought about a few things while walking around school. some things really impacted me. sometimes, it's times like these that really allows us to think about our lives.

went to meet my teachers. felt really good to talk to them once again. teachers teachers. how awesome are they?! people that really care about your life. if i could choose my teachers all over again, without a doubt, i would choose these people! :)

friends. so awesome. what to do without these people? it feels so good to talk to a few people heart to heart, getting to know what's on their minds. somehow those that were close to in the past became distant to me, while those distant to me, shared heart with me. how ironic. they need Christ!

it feels good to play old school soccer with old friends. even though we haven't played together for a very long time, there's this trust that's built in us between us. even though we make mistakes once in a while, there's no doubt we will be back even stronger! that's how with God. even though at times, we don't see God moving in our lives, we still have to trust and believe in him. that's when faith comes in and without faith it is impossible to please God!

today was amazing. tomorrow's going to be even better! going shopping with kenn tmr! need some new clothes cos i'm sharing testimony on saturday! :) yup. playing heart of worship for cg, and sharing annoucements too!

Ivan had his napfa today, but sian! he failed his pull-ups! argh! let's all begin to start praying for Ivan in our quiet time! :) i believe you are going to get gold, Ivan!! :)

today's lesson was rather mundane. i slept throughout the 1 hour in chinese class, others were fine i guess. then i went to for training & everything. at the end of training, my coach refused to let me quit rugby! -_- he told me that he could reduce my training schedule, allow me not to come for training if i had a letter. ...? i rather quit la. -_- sian. mannn!

anyway, tomorrow school ends at 12. pretty good i guess. going to find Ivan in church tomorrow as usual, learn lights from howteng as usual. yup. i'm playing for cg on friday! wooo! :) playing heart of worship! that's right, let's all come back to the heart of worship. worship is more than just singing a song, more than just loving the song, it's a surrender to God, telling him how much we love him, how much we need him. let our worship be more than words deep, let it mean from our hearts.

today i hanged out in church. it feels good to be back on a weekday! ahha :) hang out with Ivan, saw him play the drums, discussed with Jordan about some important stuff. everything's going to be good ahah.

headed for yamaha after that. i needed a new pick cos i lost mine -_- and i need new strings. mine are too old already! ahaha. yea man. i guess i only have time to restring it tomorrow. gotta do my english homework! yup. really short post today. that's all for now. there's still training tomorrow! man. gotta persevere!!! :)

had lights training today. whoa it was quite tough, learning all the power, voltages, currents and wattages. but it was quite fruitful ahha. then Yassy came to share with us what's light ministry's purpose. it was powerful and all, but i just felt. maybe what Ivan shared with me last thursday was correct. yup, i think you're right, Ivan :) ahaha. yea munxz. after that, lunched with my usual friends, hanged out at the lights console, watching Wei Hong play on the guitar and sing. whoa can i tell you that his super talented la. awesome guitarist, awesome voice. it just feels so good to see him play and sing :) hehe. yea, i was at the lights console, trying to learn from howteng and cheang. ahaha.

service today was awesome. worship was great. and as we worship, we build Your throne O Lord. it's the presence like these that keeps us going forward, keeping us strong. what a intangible feeling, but yet so peaceful, so soothing. we gotta take control of our will! yea man. our will. let our will be inlined with God's will. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, here on earth as it is in heaven. yeaaa! powerful message, powerpacked service.

after that, we had Pastor How's birthday celebration. it was totally an awesome celebration. though it was super funny, it was very touching also. i just wanna take this opportunity to wish Pastor How a very happy birthday, thank you for building Heart of God Church, a place where dreams are being built, relationships are being borne, and a place where people can call home. :) thank you Pastor How!!!! :) awesome day today. got school tomorrow man. and worst still, training. O Lord, give me strength to persevere! :)

today Dom shared with us doing discipleship class that we have to build our spirit man. truly, how are we going to lead our sheep closer to God when they are closer to God than we already are? build build build! gotta read our bible more, pray more and just change to be more Christ-like. how awesome is it going to be when one day you are asked to pray for someone whom you totally don't know, but spoke right into their lives, a rhema word for them. how cool is that?!

what can i say? zone f's service today was mind blowing. Pastor Lia was preaching about having a revelation of sin. how true it that! how can we live, taking our salvation for granted? although salvation is free, it is definitely not cheap. Jesus gave his all to redeem us! it was so powerful man. it will just get better and better from today onwards, cos we all will have the revelation of sin.

it was especially powerful towards the end. it was amazing. totally. the presence was so thick. many cried in His presence. Pastor Lia prayed and many fell under the power of God. what a wonderful sight. grow and become a generation that seeks! grow!

after hanging out in children church for a while, i got to know more of the cch people. just can't for them to come over to zone f. can't wait especially for wayne frm cch to come over. he is just so powerful! :)

heart fest is coming! so lets have september 4th, thursday free man! zone f is going to have alot of fun! :) come hang out with us! it's from 1-6pm in HoGC :) yeaaa! tmr i'm going to have lights training, and i know it's going to be awesome hehe! grow in skills! yea man :)

ahha! i'm a day late cos i'm blogging about yesterday! yesterday was quite good for me in school. had quite alot of fun and everything! ahahha. after school, i headed down to church. i reached around 2.40. howteng only reached at 2.55. okay nvm. THEN! she asked me to wait for another 30 minutes LOL. -_- but that was okay since i had my guitarist friend, Josh with me! wooo! we played Captivated. man it was so cool la! i'm going to get the chords pretty soon! :)

so yea, 3.30 came. i learnt all the theory stuff from her... theory... THEORY! but actually, it was quite fun ahah! then i told her i wanted to programme a song right now. she gave me "help me"

me: ...! why you give me "help me" give me harder song eh. i wanna do "here we go"
howteng: "help me" nice what! okay la you do "here we go"
AHHAHA. so i programmed my favourite praise song WOOO! then i was talking to her about the song. so currently there's ivan, muthu and me and agrees that "here we go" has the coldplay feel! ahaha! awesome! okay so i started programming... programming... then howteng left halfway to meet bong! man i'm alone. but that's okay. i figured out how to use the board more effectively! AHAHA yea... programmed programmed! whoooooooa! i programmed finish the song within an hour i think. HEHEHE. awesome eh. first time programming! Bryce came when i was about to finish. he told me, "whoa you are seriously good man" :) hehe. howteng asked me to be attached to service today. i dont know if i should man. hmmm! anyway! i'm expanding expanding!

before i left for home, i saw preparation for Pastor How's birthday! it's so cool :) can't wait for sunday to come! ahahh! gogogogogo! Ivan's the EC so everything's gonna be GREATTTIO! :) i think i'm going prepare myself to go to church right now. ahaha.

tuesday, 19/8/08:
it was cool and everything. i had SOW on that day and it was awesome mannn! :) Alton taught us how to transpose a song. we transposed "you reign" from the key of G to the key of E! yea, it was cool! hehe. i forgot most of what happened already ahha! coolio!

wednesday, 20/8/08:
i had training on that day. it's like my first rugby training in 2 months due to my injury already. man i'm seriously not fit already lol. ahaha! and my muscles are still aching now. man i hate training. it's so boring. -_-

thursday, 21/8/08:
... i didn't study much for geog test cos i knocked out on wednesday night cos of the training! -_- what luck. then later in the day, we were called to meet in the music room for an urgent meeting. guess what. monday - friday training lol. mon wed fri - 3-5pm tues thurs - 3-4pm. what is this man? i will not trade my life for rugby. i'm just going to for a week of training, and see how it is. gosh.
anyway, ivan met me today for a talk. i love talking to Ivan about what is on my mind and everything. then he shared with me what he saw me to be. i shall run with that vision, IVAN! :) 4months is all i need:) yea man. hehe. talking to Ivan really encouraged me to press on! yea man!

hehe. hello everyone! i just had an awesome day today!!! :) how was yours?

firstly, i had heart to heart session with ivan where he talked more about responsibility! gotta be responsible in whatever we do man. be accountable not just to our leaders, but to God as well! :) though we are imperfect, we gotta do everything in our power to do it God's way man! for God is the way, the truth, and the life :) annnnnnnnnd! please don't be a hypocrite and have double standards! be the person you are at home, school and at church! be responsible for our point B, it's not going to be spoon-fed already man. yeaaaaa! it was amazing. i was look forward to heart to heart sessions with ivan :)

then, i played street fighter vs x-men against chap biao, lumbin, and some other people! man it's like the funniest game even though it's so old school! we are into retro-ness man :D

so yea, after that, i went to find Cleon! he was at the bus stop early man! his just... awesome la! man i pray that something will change in his heart as ivan meets him for follow up lesson 4! change his heart O Lord. change it to your frequency! then we will have 1 more person, planted in F23! then we still have Sean, CK, Kenneth, all these people man! grow grow grow! expand me to a leader of 10! :)

after that, we had our usual lunch and stuff with the F2 and F1 peeps. hehe. it's these kind of stuff that keeps us going forward, doing life together. i wonder how many of us will look back 10 years down the road, at times like these when we did life together. let me tell you, i definitely would! :D

then finally for ZONE F!!! we had Cheryl and Randyne leading games for the first time! whoa, can i tell you that his just super super zai! :) and so, we played the shoe game! ahah it was super super fun man! we stole shoes from other teams, defended our own! man Chun Kit and i were the best attackers man! we pulled Kenn's leg and Brian's leg! LOL. then we stole many of their shoes! we rock, Chun Kit! hi-5! :)

i just feel, our praise and worship is just getting stronger each week! just so awesome man. anddddd i LOVE. <---- seriously LOVE praising and worshipping God with Chun Kit! i don't know, but there's just something different about him! i love hanging around him like how i love hanging around IVAN! :) yea mannnnn! hehhe. Lord give us clean hands and a pure heart! let us be a generation that seeks you face! anyway, cheryl had a joke for this song. it was funny and jian hong was slow in response! ahaha we were all laughing away! it was so funny. message was great by Jian Ming! if we fail to plan, we plan to fail! that's so true!

after zone f, i hung out with the cch people. man can i tell you they are so amazing? for example weizhe. his only 10, but he is already integrating people into cch!!!! come on guys! if weizhe can do it, so can you! this tells us not to despise the youths! gogo weizhe! :) besides him, there's wayne! ahaha, the cch wayne. his awesome too la! can't wait for them to be in zone f :)

main service!!!! yea man. 41st day was on worship team, and it was great man :) seeing Pastor Lia leading worship. WOOOO! also, Pastor How preached even though he broke his Achilles tendon! ouch man! so let's all pray for Pastor How for a speedy recovery and everything to go back as per normal! and maybe PREACH in the OLYMPICS! ahahha! :) it was a great message. we need to half self-leadership, control our emotions and thoughts, and chasing that elephant parking in our minds :) coolio!

did our usual stuff after service. then i played games with Asmond leading! man can i tell you his super funny!!! we played whacko, extreme chop chilli chop, and "honey i love you, would you smile for me please?" HAHAHH! the last game was totally hilarious! if you were'nt there, you totally missed out on a whole lot of laughter! xD LYNETTE! it was FUNNY! all i did was my trademark signature copyright move and you laughed! i haven't even "chu jue zao" xD ahahha! man it was great laaa! tonight was terrific! i love church people!

after all that, how i wished to be sleeping and resting! but KS offered to send us home! whoa Auntie YanPing is just so kind! she so kinnnnnnnd! thank you Auntie YanPing for sending us home! :) yup. so this is my day for you. pretty exciting eh? imma learn lights from Melvin personally! chiong ah! i'm quite quite quite sure i will do for zone F before you go army, Ivan!!!! :)

past few days has been a chore, and rather meaningless. ahaha. today's cg was exactly what i needed!!!

my past few days was crap. my exam results weren't up to my expectations, and i totally had to mood to do anything. i slept at 8+pm for 2 nights already. man that's super unfruitful!! gotta live my life right man i told myself. today's cg was totally amazing. :)

Cheryl preached on having faith and everything. just the usual faith sermon. but before cg, we played street fighter!!! man it was so super fun! even cheryl said that it was fun man! :) so yea, after that, before cg started, we had mats on the floor, beside us, representing people! man i could already see Cleon, Sean, Kenneth, JT in F23 already. it was such an amazing sight! faith was building up, im regaining my momentum! gosh. it was great great greato! then we talked about our new friends, and i shared a little more about Sean. Sean! you're always on my mind even though i don't see you as often as before man!!! :) yea. worship was great, offering was cool. then when cg was about to end, Cheryl surprised me by asking me to close in prayer! haha. i think i did pretty well, and Cheryl confirmed it! hehe. yea man. i don't know why, but i think this is my spiritual waterstop. refilled, refreshed, recharged. ready to take the world yo! yup

and so ivan's going to army in ard 4.5 weeks time. it's simply too fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm gonna miss him sooooo much i tell you. like soooooooo much. i think i'm going to chiong lights now. before you go to army, i'm going show you 1 service of lights man! i hope i'm able to do that! yeaaaaaa! :) i'm learning from brian tmr at 6pm! hehe hopefully i'm able to grasp everything! WOO! chiong ah!

ahaha. so i was one of the few SA people that went to school today! but anyway, they missed out man.

there was boxing in school, i mean like the real thing! whoa one of the matches, it was so hiong until one of the guys bled man. gosh! and then, there was teachers vs saints' soccer team! it was HILARIOUS la!!! so funny how the teachers play, but even though, man! they "bao dao wei lao" keep the knife until old <--- direct translation LOL. ahha yea, but in the end, saints' soccer team won! yea man! they are the best!

after that, it was the usual routine of soccer and slackin'. went hosp, and hung out in church. today, ivan showed us a movie, remembering the titans. whoa it was awesome la!! a movie really featuring teamwork, and more importantly to me, managing that anger, harnessing it into something more, more powerful. a more powerful drive for my destiny! thanks ivan! it was really awesome :) man. its like, only 5 more weeks then you gotta head for army! gosh, i'll definitely miss you!!!!

so yea, i went to play soccer with wayne and jordan at night. we were supposed to meet at 815, but they only came at 830 or so. but, during the waiting period, i met one of my seniors. changed much i must say. i almost couldn't recognise him. just so much difference! hais. anyway, i played 1 match and i didn't wanna play any more. they were like 2 levles above me! it wasn't fun anymore -_- so i decided to slack with jordan and wayne til 1015 and left for home. read ivan's, muthu's, jordan's, cheryl's, nadine's, blogs, and here i am blogging about mine! :D

so yea, i finished all my papers today.

WOOOO! my exam's are overrrrr ahahha! thank God for friends that go through thick and thin with you! hehe. now, we are back into the soccer craze! yea man. me + ball = beautiful game! AHHA!

today was really slack, after school i played soccer 'til i couldn't move any further. so funny when i played for fun, instead of playing to win. all those classic mistakes, that seriously are better than laughing gases!

after soccer, headed home, watched bleach, slept for awhile. man i gotta tell you this problem. whenever i sleep in the afternoon/evening. if i supposedly were to wake up at 7.30pm, i would for some unknown reason, always wake up lik 1 hr later or smth. -_- i think i have a sleeping disorder LOL. man this isn't good. i need more energy!

i missed half of superband, but wasnt too bad cos the rabbits aren't playing today. so yup. this is monday for me. monday blues no more!

wonderful service today, thick atmosphere.

in the past weeks, i just feel that HoGC is going to a whole new level of spiritual atmosphere. Everything's changing! changing for the better. but are you going to change for the better, for God? or are you just going to remain at that same old level? let's build the church, and let God build us.

today's church builders' service was totally mind boggling. for whom will we stand for? if you missed that service, it's just such a pitttttttttty! ahahaha. we must grow as the church grows. or we will be lacking behind. church builders of 2008, will we still be church builders of 2018? certainly hope so. this is just a brief summary of something spectacular!

Faith. filled?

today was an awesome service. totally anointed, totally real. families will be saved, my school will experience revival, my church will grow, my cg will explode. and i myself will GROW! i've been filled to the max 100.1% by today's presence. what do we need after a week of reaching out, studying, and totally learning? His Presence, His Touch is all we need. today was a breakthrough personally for me, i don't know about you guys, but i felt that that i've risen to a whole new level! grow grow grow grow! KEE-BANNNN! i could bask in His Presence and go on like forever.

today started out well. went to get black shoes from wayne! ahhah it took me around 5 calls to wake him up!!! heheh. after that, i went to church and hanged out til usher meeting started. usher is just such an awesome ministry i tell you! the arrangement of chairs, to the moving of those heavy metal thingys to standing at the lift, welcoming the people in, ushering them into their destinies. it was tiring but definitely fulfilling. after that, we headed for service. another one of Pastor How's faith filled faith service. how important is faith? no faith no Jesus. living in the 4th dimension, be still and alert as the Holy Spirit puts visions and images into your mind. it was what 4th dimension is all about. envision and pray. envision and pray. even though i was tired after usher, the moment worship started, it felt that my lethargy was taken away!!! just so awesome.

Pastor How talked about Dr.Alex too. how God can turn an ordinary taxi driver into a God-fearing Pastor, building one of the highest towers in the world, and pastoring to approximately 130,000 people!!!!!!!!! 600million dollars project, just like that. there's just too much to say about this man of God!

i so have to blog today. it's just so funny man!

okay, so today i had p.e lessons in the morning. my whole class had to undergo a swimming test, so there we were, me, kyran, darren and gerwyn, watching them swim while we played reversi LOL. it was so funny man. then after that, we had science. as usual, the teacher was reading from his slides, and his name is lsf. -_- ahhah. but we got early recess which was cool!!! ahah. soccer during recess as per normal, nothing much. after recess, we went for maths lesson. sia la. i was almost dozing off when my maths teacher was teaching maths! it was on angles and i totally didnt know what was it about. but luckily, i had my friend bleston!!! he is awesome i tell you, every time i doze off, he will never fail to bang me table and wake me up. man :) and there's this guy in my class called marcus. he is totally cool i tell you. i was sharing with a bunch of my friends in kfc about jesus, heaven, hell and how the world was going to end. God was there. then i have friends telling me that they cut down on vulgarities, refrain from evil, admitting their sins and asking for forgiveness. the fear of God, the fear of God i tell you!!! so yea, coming back. marcus told me in the morning that he prayed to jesus ytd, asking for his forgiveness! whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! his a non-believer mannn! he is awesome laaaa :D

after that was english. <<< CLIMAX LOL. okay so we were in the coe room, with aircon and stuff. and we are back to the boring eng lessons cos it was not taught by my form teacher. so yea, we had to talk for 2 mins about my interest. so as i was about to sit down and discuss, we had to sit at our form teacher's table. so as i was about to start writing, i saw her, and she looked at me. there was total silence and both of us know what we were thinking about. LOL. she is cool man. she was like "come nick, im going to bring you to the dm to cut your hair!!!!" somehow, i felt nothing, as if it were just drama class. ahhah! but she really did bring me to the dm's office, luckily he was out for some lunch break or smth. (????) then she talked to me about my hair and stuff. what really impacted me was.
form teacher: "i have been asking you to cut your hair since the start of school, but you refused to cut. nicholas ah nicholas! you look at yourself! i havent cut your hair for such a long period of time already! if it were other students, i cfm send to dm already, but it's you thats why i didnt do it. isn't that favouritism? (favour with men :D ) can i trust that you would cut your hair today?"

me: "NOOOO ive got rugby today."

then came along my music teacher. my form teacher asked her. "is his hair long?"
music teacher: definitely.
something she said made me cut my hair.
music teacher: you know, in the bible, it says submit to authority.
then suddenly, the essence of what she said just hit me, the holy spirit just spoke to me with a vague verse in the bible.
hebrews 13:17- Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.
like wow. that was when i knew i had to cut the hair. it was just more than my teachers asking me to do it. it was the Holy Spirit. then it was so funny!!!! my music teacher asked if i needed a change of hair dresser. i was like where is yours? park way she said. okay yea so i agreed to go with her. LOL. it was just so funny!!!!!! have any one of you gone to a hairdresser that your school music teacher brings you that is in parkway parade when your school is in potong pasir? im sure that you guys havent! AHAHHA!

so yea, when i got back, it was all jokes and laughter. and with my form teacher some more! i really find that she is just so cool man. :D awesome teacher! hehehhe! then she was organising a trip to London at the end of the year some more for our class SIA LA! 8 days for 20% of 2.8k wowoowowoowowowoowowow! only chosen ppl get to go, but i'm sure im one of them *GRIN* ahhha! then my friend, kyran and darrren starts questioning why do we speak in tongues? so there we were, me and my other friend evan, trying to explain to him! man i hope he gets it man! JESUS! touch him i pray! yea man. im starting to love my already even more already! and that solves one of my problems. :D hehehe.

okay so after school, i went to cut my hair with miss gan. on the bus, i was just sharing with her how was my day, then all of a sudden our topics changed to Christianity and church. man it was cool talking to her about it! it felt spiritual. :D so yea. after we alighted, she taught me how to proceed to the shop, which was a little complicated, but nothing to fret about, because imma street smart person LOL. upon reaching the shop, it was so funny! miss gan was like " he got caught for his hair, and needs a hair cut. please cut it short." in chinese with that english accent! i was like NONO DONT TELL THEM! AHHAHA! miss gan is awesome man! so i did get a hair cut, and it was cool. the auntie there was cool man! she wears a hoodie and talks like a youngster. ahhaha! and her skills are quite good! guess what? cut + wash for an amazing price of 10 dollars LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! whoa i feel im being blessed HAHAHA. from cutting hair, we could even talk about pimples LOL. ahhah cool auntie!

okay so after that, i went back to school and watched the rugby match. it was against almiralty and the score was 83-0. obvious who won, and it doesn't seem to need much description.

so this is what happened to me in a day. funny day, funny teachers, amazing Jesus. :)

whoa today was awesome i tell you!!!

went to school as usual, but i realised friday is kinda slack for my new timetable. wooo! today miss chew which was my weird art teacher spotted that my hair was long, and asked me to cut it, but im not going to cut it anyway since my form teacher doesn't really mind it. FAVOUR WITH TEACHERS I TELL YOU! :D then i've received spams from 2 of my joker friends, bleston and kenneth. first thing i saw on msn. SPAMS, "cut ur hair!! NICK!! teacher tell u so many times u dun want listen!! what kind of VICE-CHAIRMAN ARE U?" and much more similar ones! ahhah so funny la dey!!! hehehe.

today was awesome, hanging out in church, playing psp, man i gotta tell you about the soccer craze later mannnn! so when i was about to leave church, nadine smsed me to go for steam boat with some of the leaders and ivan, so there i was, with ivan, so i asked him, "you going ah?" yea he was definitely going to eat his fill!! we went to the restaurant "everyday steamboat" or TIAN TIAN HUO GUO. whoa i tell you ah. really is everyDAY huo guo. cos even though its 8pm at the time, it felt like it was in the morning! hahaha! we definitely laughed loads and loads and loads during the steamboat with muthu, ivan, jordan, nadine, sinfei and chew! hehehhe! one of the highlights was the muttons 2 midnight! chew, sinfei, me and muthu laughed like siao! then we let nadine hear, WHOA LAOOOO! SHE NEVER LAUGH AT ALL LAAA! man she's deprived of her laughter :( hehehhe just kidding mann! it was just so funny! ahhaha. we were ordering alot alot alot of food, free flow of food & drinks at a cost of 19 dollars per head. quite cool mannnn! heheh. food was good, people were cool, time was well spent, money was well used. hehhe! after our steamboat, here comes the soccer craze i tell you, if you are with us, you will definitely be able to see/hear us playing soccer without a doubt from afar man!!! GOAAAAAAAAAAAAL! as ivan/jordan/muthu scores. i dont know why but for some reason, everytime pass to me then the opposition scores! sian sian sian! so biased siaaaa! BOOO REFEREE KAYU LA!

then we went to the usual rochor ( this time i spelled it correctly NADINE!) tau huay store. ahahh as usual its just so awesome! but we didnt stay there long cos it was already quite late. ahaha! then we headed for home. on our way home, noni started the flicking people trend, so there we were, around 11 of us, flicking each other LOL. man it was just so funny man!!! ahah when we reached the mrt station, the flicking took on a new form. TRIPPING AHHAHA! so i tried to trip muthu, jordan, ivan, noni, wayne. then suddenly sinfei cheap shot me (eeyerr so cs LOL!), but i was too pro already, hence i didnt fall AHHAHA. then when ivan was talking to charleston, he suddenly whacked me on my back OUCH! (eeyerr so cs again LOL) man im going to find a time to avenge my lost cells. until then, i shall stay silent. shhsh.

so that's my day for you man. who says your life can't be exciting when school starts? hehehe.

soccer life

yesterday was soccer soccer and more soccer i tell you!!!

i met ivan in church at the studio ard 1plus ytd. he was practising some drum fill it stuff. since he said it was fun, then it definitely has gotta to be fun!!! hehehe. after that, we head off to compass point to find the nan chiau people!!! it was so funny la, taking the bus! we asked the bus auntie of bus 43 (which does go to compass point) "auntie, this bus got go to compass point?" then she replied no. bus 80 got. then another bus came, then we asked again, "uncle, this bus got go to compass point?" then he replied, nope, bus 43 got. LOL SIAN! we were laughing away! sia la, her own bus sia! also don't know. then we had to wait for bus 80 -_- but on the bus was so fun! listening to songs with ivan hhehe. whoa he told me alot about songs man! propropropro! ahhah!

then we went to eat at the foodcourt of compass point. man i shouldn't have ate chicken chop! my hand is already injured sian! this how it looks like ahhah. it took me quite awhile to finish it and ivan was teasing me at how slow i ate. NO FAIR LEH!!! HANDICAPPED! anyway, i played soccer with ivan. whoa i tell you ah... -_- it was so hard to play against him. i mean. NO LA. ivan you abit pro-er than me only la. HEHHEHE. man it was fun man. gotta play with him sometime soon again! sinfei is forever on djmax 2! but im trying to convince ivan to play that so that i can thrash him. AHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAH!

so we went to play soccer @ a street soccer court and the rest is history.

now, for todayyyy! i went to find ivan again as usual, so we hanged out for a abit til discipleship class, then we shared and shared and shared, man it was just so awesome to have discipleship class with ivan, so cool, so real. sometimes, it's just gotta be like that. it's all about the mind, where everything is controlled by it. so here i am blogging, just right after i sent ivan an email. hehhehe.

this is basically what happened in 2 days.

on my first day of school, it was quite good, seeing all of my friends, and the feeling of bringing them to church is BACK! :) ahhah it was good man, seeing them, laughing together in class. doing everything together. HEHEH. then rugby came. -_- this is super sian i tell you. i fell down while scoring a try, and i broke my ligament la. sian. my bone was outta place OUCH. then i went to the hospital, waited like 1hr plus then my turn. -_-. man, doing everything with 8 fingers is hard. now, jawden and yakuza keeps stretching infront of me, taunting me, whilst i touch my hair and play with it as jordan got t3-ed and yakuza burnt his own hair. ahhah! man we are a great team together. :)

yesterday, we had our very first SA prayer meeting. it was awesome man. there were just 4 of us; issac, jordan, leona and me. it was awesome i tell you. we SA people have been doing our qt faithfully! man we can pray :D especially issac. after the prayer meeting i told him that i could really feel the presence of God when i heard him pray. man his so different now since the time i met him!!! it's so awesome to have such great people in our school to bring revival to SA. sadly, weihao wasnt there, and i don't wanna talk about it. i pray he will find his way back. we just went on for 30mins praying, and it just seems like 10. it was simply awesome i tell you. we will do this every week i guess :D heheheh! fabulouuuuuus!

then i had sow, which was good! they played oneway and evermore. mannnn! how i wished i could play! both songs were so fun to play! with the accent! SIAN SIAN SIAN! nevermind! i will play it oneday! anyway, anthony just called me last night to tell me, "you are going to sing inside out for me" LOL. i'm gonna sing man. get ready your seat belts!!!!! hehhehhe! yea man. today and tmr's elearning, kinda slack, doing everything with my friends, heheh. seed sowing time! ahhah. back to elearn man. gonna find ivan later :D

fulfilling.

man. this june is by far the best, and the most fulfilling holidays i ever had. from RedRain, to secondary school camps, to Pastor Joakim, to Pastor Che An, to orientation nights @ ivan's house, to endless serpents in church, to cold jokes & funny jokes in church, to singing with ivan, jordan, cheryl, kenn, xing as we head up to church, to appreciating good music, to my new music song friend, cheryl, to giving ivan his new jacket, to the church's new dimension, to meetings every saturday, to hanging out late @ esplanade playing old school pepsi cola, to h&w inside jokes, to sentosa & movie outings, and most of all, hanging out in church and with cool people like ivan! this has gotta be the most awesome holiday of my life! everything changes with you have a purpose in life. i'm a living testimony to that.

i've learn alot during my 4weeks of break from Pastors and Leaders. they are just so awesome man. how i wished i could pon school everyday just to hang out with them, be around them. i would if i could. sadly, life still has to go on. i used to see school as a chore, as something i dreaded much. but, Pastor Joakim just threw that babyish mentality outta my mind. now, i'm all set to take my school for Christ. it's just so awesome, listening to the testimonies, how people's lives have changed because of love. to me, love is just so important. we love because Jesus first loved us. i'm so encouraged to love those who i'm cold towards, to love those i've disliked, to love those i hated. i used to be insecure if others out do me in whatever field i'm in, but after a talk with ivan, i really felt better. i no longer felt bad when i failed at something, for i know, in whatever i do, Jesus is always with me. i just love how my leaders take time to hang out with us, love us, teach us and guide us in our lives. i'm typing these feeling uberly touched right now, coupled with a powerful worship song, i could almost cry. i'm just so thankful for everything that i have now.

i just cannot forget ivan's expression when we passed him his jacket on saturday. it was just so mind-blowing. seeing his expressions, i couldn't help but feel happy for the rest of the day. there's just this indescribable sensation. there we were, me and cheryl, just sharing how happy we felt that day. hehehe. i hope ivan doesn't get a heart attack when his birthday comes :D

sometimes, it just takes you to wait on God, and dwell in his presence. i'm just so addicted to his presence, even at this moment. i feel being in church, i just love his presence so much. today's worship was awesome. there's just a whole new level of faith when we sang "Amazing Grace" new faith begin to arise, new spiritual levels begin to breakthrough. renew my heart, i pray. 4th dimensional living.

i'm feeling recharged, and ready to go back to school already. Christianity starts after service. so it's the end of the holidays. something ivan said really hit me. "it's the holidays, you literally don't have anything to do, everyone can run fast. the pressure starts to kick in when school starts, who will last the race, and who will fall? waterstops after waterstops i shall run, with my leaders i will follow, His presence i shall carry. this generation shall be world changers & history makers. :)

sow was strenuous but fulfilling as usual. i havent had cg in a nong nong nong time and yesterday was the first time we had it in the month of June. man it was good. ivan shared with us how we can take our schools with just 3 practical steps.
1. be united in the same vision.
man you gotta be united in the same vision la. come on. if you guys aren't united, imagine 1 guy wants to bring spiritual revival to your school, and another guy wants to bring soccer revival to your school. it's a nono man!

2. work as a team.
this was what we needed. working as a team. if we don't work as a team, everything wouldn't be so smooth! team. team. team playaaaaaaaaaa! that's what i'm going to be, that's what i'm going to inspire others to be!!! :)

3. work with the holy spirit.
as stated in the bible, unless the Lord builds the house, we labour in vain. we have to keep running back to the presence of God, problems may come, but i know that it wasn't that God isn't Almight & Powerful, it's that God LET the problems occur to mould us to be more christ-like. gotta keep following the what the holyspirit tells you man! he is just so awesome :)

i've a vision & dream to take my school for christ. this is not hype, this is not pressure. this is something inside of me that will not die off.

after a great time at cg, i chilled with jordan. then suddenly, indian & elgin came! i didn't know what happened, but i saw jordan being owned by them. wanting to work as a team, HA. i tried to rescue jordan, but i received even more orientation that i did at ivan's house MAN! but it was funny, how indian cried out when i smacked his back LOL. ahahh! it was so funny! HYBRIDS CANNOT OWN PURE COLOURS. ahhahha! it was funny man. going home with randyne was funnaaaaaaay! we talked about how we could reach home earlier than jordan, then we talked about indonesian recipe for cooking LOL. it was cool to just talk to him! :)

yesterday was awesome, but today's going to be even better! :D

ahhaha! ytd was just simply too awesomeeeeeeeeeeeee! too tired to post ytd alr. knocked out @ 11+ ahhah! anyway, i had sow in the morning, man we had theory lessons. gosh. it was uber hard to grasp man. arghh! but i will persevere :)

after that we headed for sentosa YEA! on my way there, i cant believe i lost to jordan on psp's soccer 6-2 la. my goal keeper was so off-form -_- sian sian sian! hahah anyway it was funny how we played *hint hint jordan* LOL. sentosa was awesome. after settling down in the beach, i wanted to dunk ivan! but then, i couldnt move him -_-, so we went to leona first and BOOOM! into the water he went ahahha! the Yakuza has fallen. next on our list was ivan! HAHAHH! so much throwing and wrestling in the water mann! ahhah! so cool. wars after wars, peace treaties after peace treaties. ahhah never-ending man. after all that, benny came. AHHAH. when he came, yazuka and i ran straight to him and carried him to the water! ahahh it was just so uber funny the way he screamed and his facial expressions! heheh. anyway, something hit me when ivan was sun-tanning, even though it was just something casual, but i felt god speaking to me. yakuza/jordan said, "man it's so hot" then immediately i heard something in me. "if you can't take the heat, then how are you going to serve?" i was blown away man. it was totally amazing how god can speak to us :) worship team here i comeeeeeeeeee! heheh!

the tram was so slow moving, that i could even out run it -_- after an awesome jap/korean lunch @ koufu, there lied the shepherd and the 2 sheeps, asleep on the table. man it was refreshing! after that, ivan woke up and he had to go mannn! sian. but anyway, i took a picture with ivan! cooliooooioliolilioioioiollloio :D hehehhe!

we then to play the luge later. then wayne was saying, "how much is the lunch?" LOL. we all laughed and jordan keep teasing him until wayne showed his fist LOL. hehhe! then was the highlight of the night, which must be kept secret ^^

so here i am at the comp now as i was ytd, checking how much homework i have left to do -_- i missed 2 already, cos i missed the dateline LOL. siannn! ahahha. the rest of the homework, HERE I COME, not forgetting EASTCOAST PARK & moreeee :)

ahhah! i'm back againnn! since i'm not tired today, i shall post today! hehhe. today was super funny with ivan, jordan, nadine, sinfei and chew! i went to find ivan today at some victoria hotel, man it was sorta hard finding my way there, but, due to my awesome sense of direction ( LOL, INFLUENCED BY YAYA CLUB) , i managed to make my way outside the hotel, and wayne picked me up. ivan cut his hair today mannn! gosh i miss his previous hair, but he said he likes his hair now. ahhah! but IM GOING TO CUT BOTAK LAAA -_- im envious of hair.

after that, we went to mos burger to find our nadine & sinfei. zomg lol. playing with ivan on pro evolution soccer isnt easy sia!! he owned me like 5-2. but partly due to my noob keeper lor. gave away 2 penalties lehhh! -_- ahhaha.

jordan was on vida la vida the whole time he was with us, it's quite nice to listen to! :) haha! mannn! dinner was funny, chew was still on the psp on djmax portable when we went to buy food. AHHAH! man you gotta listen to this la. nadine, sinfei and chew wanted to save money, so they actually wanted to buy just the meat of some stall, and the chicken rice rice separately LOL! it was just so funnnny! hehhe. after slacking awhile @ the food court, we headed for... ROCHER (iono if i spelt correctly) TAU HUAY!!! YES it was good! RIGHT NOW WE HAVE HAVING SOME UBER FUNNY CONV ON MSN LOL. ehheheh! the butterfly was better than last time! man we were making so much noise that we disrupted the peace the air-conditioned room once had LOL. everyone was looking at us mannn! heheh! so cool to hang out with these people :)

yea man! today was the first time i restringed my guitar, man it took me quite a while & broke a lot of strings LOL. :D:D well, there's always a first time! now here i am talking to jordan, nadine and sinfei! ahha! so fun to talk to them!

mannn tmr's going to be super cool laaa! going sentosa with a bunch of cool people like ivannnn! ^^ and f2 & b2 leaders. WOOOOO!

i've finally decided to post today.

God really works wonders when you are radical for him. today, i told my coach that i couldn't go for the rugby tour to malaysia, and he didn't scold me lol. that's like so so so so so so unlikely to happen from what i know. yea.

anyway, today was the last session of BMT (A). man it was good la. i learnt alot from what Dom & Garrett shared. was totally amazed. then after that, it was Pastor How. back to back anointing la. just so cool, how he shared to be a Son of God and not a servant, for servants come and go while Sons of God will stay. let's run this race as Sons of God!!!

at the end of the session, it was time for our... CERTIFICATES LOL! it was just so nicely done with the sticker & everything. it was just so coolio! ahaha. i finally graduated from BMT (A) :)

after that, i had prayer meeting with Pastor Lia, Ivan, the staff & leaders. man it was so anointing, praying with them. We prayed & worshipped God for 1 hour and it seemed like only 15 minutes. that always happens when you dwell in the presence of God! yea. but there's one part of the praying that i remember super super super vividly. it was when we were praying for the church to hit 1400. not only that 1400, but 1400 super strong christians and on fire for Jesus! that was like the pinnacle of the prayer meeting. the presence and anointing was just so strong! i literally felt it throughout my whole body laaa! Pastor Lia also shared about 2 types of warriors. the first one being like Joshua going out to win souls & everything, then we have Moses, the praying warrior. in order to become a strong christian, we need both of them to become strong! yea. it's just so awesome awesome awesome. :)

tomorrow's going to be good good good! we will have pizza for lunch, (THANKS SHAWN!) play cs, and play soccer in church woooo! awesome laaa. our church our home :)

YES! after recreating my blog and much procrastination, i finally decided to blog due to popular demand LOL. yea. i definitely not forget my email now after i've spent so much time recreating my blog -_-

everything has been going on pretty well! today was just simply amazing laaa. i woke up late because my phone was offed and my alarm didn't ring! when i woke up at 10, i was frantically looking for my phone laa. it was like. OMG OMG OMG WHAT TIME IS IT?!!! after i've found my phone after like 5 mins, i realised i was uncontactable -_-!!! i immediately called ivan and rushed down to the meeting. 8.40 just went like that! but luckily, my mom gave me money before i went out. :D ahhaa! today was great. i learnt alot through the meeting hehe. after that, i met larry and jerry for lunch, and met keegan on the way. whoa lao! his muscle super big lorrr!!! then he got fanclub somemore siaaa!! then still tell us sia. YAYAPAPAYA LA KEEGAN LOL!

zone f service was just superb. why despise us when we are the leaders of today and tomorrow? we shall be an example to the believers! after service, me, ivan, jordan, wayne, benny, kevin, shawn, and vic's brother went to eat @ ivan's dad's place. lunch/dinner was super good! we had black pepper crab, oatmeal prawns, fried tofu, fried mantou and sambal kang kong! WOOOO it was super nice food, and eating with cool church friends, what more can you ask laaa! its just cool cube!! after that, we decided to head back to church for service. it was awesome i tell you. service was super super super super super super good. even though i was there only for around an hour a so, i felt so super blessed by pastor che's message. it was just so anointed! have the holy spirit in you man, if you believe, you too will do great things and greaters things than i. whoaaa! it's just so awesome. during the healing part, i heard screaming of the demons being cast out! it was so creepy! but in the presence of God, faith began to arise in me! today's service was super la. just so cool cool coolio!
